​We believe that the process of discipleship is an absolutely essential aspect of the ministry here at FBC Nitro.  We provide many discipleship opportunities through our Sunday and Wednesday programming along with other small group/home group opportunities throughout the week.  Please take a look at some of our offerings and find a way to become involved in the training and teaching ministries of our church.

Children's Sunday School

We have several Sunday School classes available for our children.  Classes are divided into age appropriate groups.

​Youth Sunday School

Our middle school and senior high students meet together for Sunday School.  Our lessons look at current events and how we can approach the world with the Gospel message.

​Odds and Ends

Our Odds and Ends class is our newest Sunday School class.  This class taught by Jeanie Bess and Denise Ash, is geared toward college age and "twenty-something" age groups. 

​Finders of Faith (FOF)

The Finders of Faith class is taught by Todd McGrew.  This class is a free-flowing, unstructured, topical, bibleiscious study of God's word.  Bibleiscious...is that even a word!

​​JOY Class

A class of JOY - Jesus, Others, Yourself.  This class is designed for the "Ladies of Wisdom" of the church and follows the Judson Bible "Journeys" Bible study curriculum.  The class is led by Helen Lee.
