Children's Ministries

We have several programs for our children. 

​KidzZone

Our primary ministry to the children of First Baptist Church is our KidzZone program.  KidzZone meets every Sunday and Wednesday evening throughout the school year.  We do lessons from the 252 Basics curriculum.  These lessons our designed to build the core understanding and beliefs for our children.

Vacation Bible School

FBC Nitro goes all out for Vacation Bible School (VBS).  Each year we have over 100 children participate in our VBS program.  Our VBS is held one week annually in the evening.  This ministry is a hallmark of what we do here at FBC Nitro.  An overwhelming majority of our congregation participates in our summer VBS program.  It is a joy each summer to see the impact that our VBS program has on the children of the Nitro community.  Below are some of the themes from years past.
